My name is Angela Velez, and I'm a Peruvian-American author, artist, and creative writing professor based in Durham, North Carolina. I teach undergraduate creative writing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I love glitter, melodramatic television, and collecting new hobbies (currently: quilting + rollerblading).
